About Us

This is us.

R and M- Rick and Mickelle.

We met in February 2010.

Started dating in March 2010. (Rick was obviously immediately smitten.)

Got married March 2011.

We kind of like each other... a lot.

No, really. BFF's for life.

Rick grew up in South Carolina, Ohio, and Louisiana and Mickelle grew up in Utah.

Rick says the LDS Washington Seattle Mission is the greatest mission ever and Mickelle says the LDS Oregon Portland Mission is the only perfect mission.

Rick loves sports (especially college football- Geaux Tigers!) and Mickelle loves raising Guide Dogs for the Blind.

  

Rick is going to school at Weber State University to be a History teacher and Mickelle graduated in 2011 with a B.A. in Business/Multimedia Technology and works at Weber State University as the Staff ASL Interpreter (and contemplating a masters...) .

This is Camden. He joined our family July 15, 2014. He has lots of adoring fans and is spoiled rotten by Mom, Dad, Aunts, Uncles, and Grandparents. (He is rarely ever put down!)

We have a resident dog named Judith. She's probably the cutest black lab ever and definitely the most awesome. She loves her belly rubs. Judith is the retired one of the bunch.

This is the newet resident dog, King. He is definitely the cutest yellow lab ever and has adjusted to not being a Guide Dog puppy (called a Career Changed Dog) quite well. He's everyone's buddy- and has even won over Judith. We also have a rotation of Guide Dog Puppies that come stay for a year.
